Elective brain surgery is nothing to take lightly.  Especially when it involves careful placement of electrodes in the brain tissue and precise programming that targets those specific areas of the brain with electrical impulses.  But this treatment - called Deep Brain Stimulation, or DBS for short - is often where people living with Parkinson's turn when other options don't work.  Check out this Health Watch video to see how Dan's DBS surgery helped "switch off" his tremors.
