Helping Parkinson's Patients Be Heard

August 20, 2018 Nora Perry

For people living with Parkinson's Disease, aggressive symptom management can mean the difference between good quality of life and none at all.  For patients who struggle with speaking, Providence offers evidence-based speech therapy programs to help them be heard.

The LOUD Crowd is a 6-week maintenance program for graduates of SPEAK OUT speech therapy, available in Medford and NE Portland.  It provides ongoing vocal practice, accountability, support, and encouragement for people with Parkinson's Disease.  By participating, patients have been shown to maintain their SPEAK OUT results for five years or more.

But don't take our word for it -- hear what they have to say for themselves!
